When the time is short, the open water referral may by the answer you’re looking for. During this course, you will complete all the knowledge development and confined water training at home before you start your Red Sea diving holiday. This only leaves 4 open water dives to gain your certification during your holiday.

Don’t forget, to take advantage of our online discounts you will need to make an online reservation in advance. We don’t ask for payment up front, or even a deposit – just settle up with us when you arrive at the resort. Diving equipment rental is included in your course fee.
We will need to ask you to complete a health questionnaire prior to commencing your Red Sea Diving course. Some medical conditions (particularly those of the heart, chest, sinuses, eyes, ears and claustrophobia) would compromise your safety underwater and, unfortunately, render you unfit to dive. If you suffer from any existing medical condition, this need not be an automatic bar to the Open Water Referral, but if you do have any concerns it would be a good idea to visit your local GP before flying out. If you do suffer an existing condition, we may need to ask you for a doctor’s letter confirming your fitness to dive. We are, of course, happy to arrange a consultation for you at the resort, but you may wish to deal with this beforehand to avoid any inconvenience or disruption to your holiday.
You will also need to ensure that you are covered for scuba diving under the terms of your travel insurance, as scuba is excluded under some policies. Columbus cover scuba diving as standard up to a depth of 30m.
